You can make changes to a multi-unit listing in several ways:
- At the main unit level: edit the main settings of the listing. Changes will apply to all sub-units.
- At the sub-unit level: edit the sub-unit settings individually. Changes will apply to the specific sub-unit.
- At the main unit level or a sub-unit level: edit the main settings or the sub-unit settings.
Where you make changes depends on what you're editing.
Certain settings must be identical across the entire listing and can only be edited via the main unit. For example, a property's pricing and amenities.
Other settings are unique to each sub-unit and can only be edited for each unit individually, such as an apartment number.
In addition, some settings can be edited either at the main unit level or per sub-unit, depending on whether they are the same for the entire listing or differ per sub-unit. For example, listing descriptions and property owners.

Before you begin
- Check if the booking channel supports multi-units and sub-units.
- Changing a listing type to a sub-unit (of a multi-unit) will cause it to inherit the settings of the multi-unit's parent unit by default. For example, any price adjustments made to the listing will be overridden by the current pricing of the main unit. Check the "Main unit only" column of the table below to understand what additional settings will get overridden.
- Setting or updating a cancellation policy should be done in the main unit and each sub-unit.
- Once you manually change the minimum nights for a specific sub-unit via the Multi-Calendar, any changes to the minimum nights made on the multi-unit level won't apply to it. To revert to the default settings, select the relevant dates and in the left-side panel, click Revert to default.
