Adding a license number to a property in Guesty

In several regions within the US, properties must have a registration/license number for long-term leasing. If you already have a registration/license number, add it to your property page.

Note:

We recommend adding your number to the dedicated field in your Guesty account, rather than displaying it in the description of your property.
Be aware that some channels may require additional action.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the relevant listing.
If the listing is a multi-unit, you can manage this feature via the multi-unit's main unit, and the settings will apply to all its sub-units. Alternatively, you can configure the settings for a specific sub-unit. Click the main unit or the specific sub-unit.
  5. In the listing's menu, click Details & Layout, then select Owner & license.
  6. Click Edit next to "License regulation", and enter the license number under "license number".
  7. Click Save.
  8. For Booking.com published listings (only):
    1. Return to the listing's menu, and click Marketing.
    2. Scroll down to "Booking.com additional information", and click Retrieve Booking.com license requirements. Refresh the page, and fill in the relevant details.
    3. Click Save.
