You can connect your listings between Airbnb and Guesty in one of the following ways:

Import ("pull") your Airbnb listings to Guesty, and initiate their syncing.
Lite users: Check how the listing's data and settings are changed when you import your Airbnb listings.
- Link (“map”) your existing Airbnb listings with your existing Guesty listings.
- Publish (“push”) your listings from Guesty to Airbnb (Pro users only)
Once your listings are connected, the rates, availability settings, guest messages, and reservations will sync between the two platforms and should be managed in Guesty (unless indicated otherwise in the table below). If you apply changes in Airbnb, they will be overridden by the settings in Guesty.
The listing’s content, including description fields, amenities, and photos, should be managed in Guesty only if you have a “Full sync” connection type set for the listing. If you selected a “Limited sync”, manage the listing’s content in Airbnb. Updates will sync to Guesty, and changes made in Guesty will be overridden by the settings you have in Airbnb.
“Full sync” will be applied to your listing as a default. If you want to switch the connection type to “Limited sync” (or vice versa), contact us. Airbnb Luxe listings can only have a "Limited" sync type.
Airbnb locked attributes feature
Making changes to specific content fields in Airbnb disables your ability to update the same fields in Guesty, regardless of the sync type. Therefore, if you have set a Full sync, we recommend making changes to these fields only in Guesty. If you change them in Airbnb, they'll be managed in Airbnb. Learn how to return to manage them in Guesty. These fields are:
- Listing title & description fields (name, summary, the space, access, interaction with guests)
- Listing nickname
- Property type and listing type
- Amenities
- Address (apartment, street, city, state, zip code, country code)
- Location coordinates, and whether to display the exact location to the guest
- Listing views (not supported in Guesty)
- Listing directions (not supported in Guesty)
- Check-in & check-out instructions
- House rules
- Wifi network and password
Airbnb data is processed asynchronously, and updates are expected to sync within several minutes. However, during high-load activity, it could take up to 24 hours.

Reservation alterations

Once you approve an alteration request from a guest, or the guest approves your alteration request, the change will be reflected in Guesty and will sync to Airbnb. Additionally, you can make internal changes that will be reflected in Guesty only. Lite users: In Airbnb To alter an Airbnb reservation, ask your guest to send an alteration request via Airbnb. Once you receive it, approve or decline the alteration request on Airbnb. You can make the changes in Guesty, however, they will not be synced to Airbnb. Additionally, changing the reservation’s assigned listing via Guesty will disable the reservation’s messaging and payment setup. |
