Managing your communication with Airbnb Support via the Guesty integration email

When connecting an Airbnb account to Guesty, you can replace your email address in Airbnb with a new Guesty integration email address. The integration email acts as a forwarding address from Airbnb to Guesty, opening a flow of communication between you and Airbnb Support — without affecting the communication with the guest.
The integration email can be utilized in the following ways:

  • Use it as your username in Airbnb.
  • Send and receive messages to Airbnb Support via Guesty.
  • Receive Airbnb account-related notifications in your Guesty Inbox.

If choosing not to set up an integration email, manage the communication with Airbnb Support in the Airbnb platform, and check there for any account notifications.

You can also forward messages from the Guesty integration email to your personal email.

Follow the instructions below to replace your Airbnb email address with your Guesty integration email in Airbnb.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Airbnb account.
  2. In the top right corner, click the profile icon.
  3. From the drop-down, click Account.
  4. Click the Personal info thumbnail.
  5. Next to Email Address, click Edit.
  6. Replace the original email address with your @user.guesty.com email address.

    Note:

    Emails with diacritic or accents aren't supported in the integration email.

  7. Click Save. 

Managing communication with Airbnb Support via the Guesty Inbox

Once you initiate a new conversation with Airbnb Support, responses from response@airbnb.com will be sent to the "Airbnb Channel Inbox" section in the Guesty Inbox. If you have an additional forwarding email address, it will also be sent to that email.
Follow the instructions below to communicate with response@airbnb.com from the Inbox.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.

    Ensure you use the account associated with the Guesty integration email you set.

  2. In the top menu, click  .
  3. In the left-side bar, click  the Airbnb Channel Inbox icon.
  4. Click the relevant conversation to open the message.
  • You'll see either a notification or a message to reply to.

  • Some messages require you to reply on Airbnb. In this case, click the Reply button to view the full message and respond in Airbnb.
