Airbnb is the starting point for new entrepreneurs and property owners. Due to the strong relationship between Guesty and Airbnb, the process to connect these platforms is simple and supports a streamlined, integrated system to manage your listings and business operations.
Note:
You can add multiple Airbnb accounts, but each must be connected to only one Guesty account.
Before you begin
- Create an Airbnb account and verify your identity on Airbnb.
- Add the following four items to your Airbnb account to ensure authorization.
- Profile picture: Add a profile picture in "Edit profile".
- Verified email address: Your email address must be verified in "Personal info"
- Verified phone number: Your phone number must be verified in "Personal info"
- Government-issued ID: Upload your ID in "Personal info"
- If you manage your Airbnb listings with another PMS, disconnect from it before connecting to Guesty.
Connect your Airbnb account to Guesty
Important:
- Ensure you keep both platforms open in your browser throughout the connection setup.
- Avoid repeating actions (like clicking "send email") multiple times. You may reach a quota limit and be blocked for 24 hours.
Step by step
- Log in to the Airbnb account you want to connect directly via Airbnb (not social login).
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Marketing and sales to open the dropdown menu. - Under Channel management, select Distribution.
- Click the Airbnb thumbnail.
- In the top right corner, click Add account.
- In the pop-up, select Connect your account and click Choose.
- Fill in the following information:
- Custom integration email address prefix: Guesty generates an email ending in @user.guesty.com. Customize the prefix and ensure it is set as your primary email in Airbnb.
- Unique account nickname: To identify the account in Guesty.
- Click Next.
- Click Done. Let’s verify the connection.
Your account status will change to "Connected" once approved by Airbnb. You can then begin importing listings.
Next steps: Connect your listings
Once your account is connected, your existing listings are added to Guesty with a “Not connected” status. Import these listings to sync their data and manage them from Guesty.
