Applying multiple promotions to a single reservation

Promotions are revenue management tools that can increase the income from your guests' bookings. You can set your promotions in Guesty and sync them with the following channels: Direct integration sources, Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, and manual reservations.

You can use different types of promotions for different purposes. For example, boost advanced booking with Early-bird promotions, or encourage guests to book longer stays with a Length-of-stay promotion.

If you set multiple promotions, more than one could apply to a single reservation. Learn below if multiple promotions will override or stack with one another.

Reservations from direct integration sources & manual

Promotions from a Length-of-stay type never stack. If there are multiple promotions applied to the same listing, only the most relevant promotion or the promotion with the highest discount will be applied to the reservation, as in the examples below:

    • Example A
      A listing has a 10% discount for 5-night stays and a 20% discount for 6-night stays.
If a guest books 5 nights, they will get a 10% discount. If they book 6 nights (or more), they will only get the 20% discount, even though 5 nights are induced in a 6-night stay.
    • Example B
      A listing has a 10% discount for 5-night stays and a 20% discount for 5-night stays.
If a guest books 5 nights, they will get the 20% discount (even if the 10% discount promotion was created first).

Reservations made through a booking channel

The ability to stack promotions in a single reservation depends on the channel and what it allows. Learn how multiple promotions will apply to an Airbnb reservation.
