Before you begin

Below is some important information to note before you publish your Airbnb listings on Guesty:

  • Make sure the content of your listing is aligned with the Airbnb Content Policy, the title of your listing will have between 8 to 50 letters and the summary won’t exceed 500 letters otherwise, your listing won’t be published
  • Make sure that your listing's status is "Active" in Guesty
    1. Select your listing.
    2. Click Settings.
    3. Under "Listing status", click Edit.
    4. Turn on the Listing is not active toggle (the toggle will now display as Listing is active).
  • It can take up to 24 hours for Airbnb to approve the listing
Once approved, its status will change to "Connected" on the Distribution page and the listing will appear in Airbnb.
  • Don't make any changes during the publishing process
We advise against making changes to the listing's content or settings during the publishing process. Wait for the listing to be in "Connected" status on the Distribution page before making any updates.

After you publish

  1. When a listing already shows as “Connected” on the Distribution page, but gets redirected to https://www.airbnb.com/s/homes, this indicates that the listing is "acting unlisted".
  2. If you attempt to publish a duplicate listing, you will receive an error message prompting you to reconnect it, rather than publish it.
Publishing duplicate listings from Guesty to Airbnb under the same Airbnb account may lead to account suspension by Airbnb.
  3. If the status remains "Pending" 24 hours after being published, it may require additional verification.
If you aren't able to resolve this issue, contact us for further assistance. We recommend refraining from disconnecting the listing in Airbnb via your sync settings before contacting us.
