Sending a receipt to a guest

When you collect a payment manually, or record a payment, you can view and send a receipt to a guest for specific payments made on the reservation.

If your guests' reservation was paid through a booking channel, you can only send the receipt (without viewing it).

Tip:

You can also send invoices to your guests.

Follow the instructions below.

 

Send and view the receipt for manual and recorded payments

Pro users Lite users

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Financials mode.
  3. Click Reservations.
  4. Select the relevant reservation.
  5. In the banner at the top of the page, click Balance due/Payout.
  6. In the "Payments" section, on the relevant payment line, click Payment actions then Send receipt.
  7. Choose an existing email address or enter a new one.
  8. Click Send.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Financials mode.
  3. Click Reservations.
  4. Select the relevant reservation.
  5. In the banner at the top of the page, click Balance due/Payout.
  6. In the "Payments" section, locate the relevant payment line, and click the arrow to its right.
  7. Under the receipt number, click on Send receipt.
  8. Choose an existing email address or enter a new one.
  9. Click Send.
