Changing a listing's currency

You can change a listing's currency in Guesty at any time. The names of the available currencies will be shown according to your display language.

Before you begin

Airbnb:

Airbnb only accepts the following currencies:
AED, ARS, AUD, AWG, BAM, BBD, BGN, BHD, BND, BRL, BTN, BZD, CAD, CHF, CLP, CNY, COP, CRC, CZK, DKK, EUR, FJD, GBP, GTQ, GYD, HKD, HNL, HRK, HUF, IDR, ILS, INR, JMD, JOD, JPY, KRW, LAK, LKR, MAD, MOP, MXN, MYR, NOK, NZD, OMR, PEN, PGK, PHP, PLN, RON, RUB, SAR, SEK, SGD, THB, TRY, TTD, TWD, UAH, USD, UYU, VND, ZAR

If any other currency is selected, the currency type will be changed to USD, but the price won’t be converted based on an exchange rate.

For example:
Let's say you set your price to 12,000 CFP Franc (XPF) as their base price.
The currency type will be changed to USD, since CFP Franc isn't a supported currency type in Airbnb.

In Airbnb, the price will be displayed as 12,000 USD, instead of a converted rate of 110 USD.

Vrbo:

When setting up the Vrbo account in Guesty, you will need to select the currency to be set on Vrbo. This currency can be different than the currency set in Guesty. When Guesty sends data to Vrbo, the system will automatically convert the rates from the Guesty currency to the Vrbo currency. When Guesty receives data from Vrbo, the system converts the Vrbo currency to the Guesty currency. Meaning, the charges in Stripe will be made according to the currency set in Guesty.
