You can delete a listing from Guesty at any time. All data related to the listing will be permanently deleted. If you don't want to permanently remove the listing, deactivate it temporarily, instead.
Once deleted, listing and reservation data won't be displayed next to the relevant charges on your Guesty bill. You'll see "Software" or "Undefined" instead. Deactivating a listing will show the full data on your bill.
Reservations assigned to a deleted listing will not route you to the reservation summary page, and the guest details will not be available in the widget. To fix this issue, move the reservation to another listing. If you want to retrieve the reservation data before reassigning it to an active listing, contact us.
Before you begin
- Disconnect the Guesty listing's connections with booking channels. Learn how to do this for Agoda, Airbnb, and Booking.com.
- Contact us to disconnect the listing's connection with Vrbo.
- Unassign the property from the owner before deleting it to prevent an empty property item from appearing on an owner profile. This will not impact the owner or their reports.
Delete a listing
Follow the instructions below to delete a listing from Guesty.
Use this troubleshooting if you're unable to delete a complex.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- Click Properties.
- Click the relevant listing.
If the listing is a multi-unit or complex, access the listing's main settings to delete the entire listing or click a sub-unit to delete it individually. - In the left-side menu, click Settings.
- In the case of a complex, click Delete complex and all of its data. Then, type in your full name, and click Delete complex. If deleting a multi-unit or a single unit, continue to the next step.
- On the top right side, click Actions.
- Click Delete property.
- If the listing is still connected to booking channels, disconnect it first, then click Done. Otherwise, tick the checkbox I have read and understood the result of permanently deleting this property, and click Yes, permanently delete.
