Using tags to filter listings views

Tags help you group relevant information together to filter reports, reservations, and calendars.
You can add tags to a listing, and remove tags from a listing at any time.

Adding a tag to a listing

Follow the instructions below to add tags to a listing.

Pro users Lite users

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Select the relevant listing.
    • If the listing is a multi-unit, you can manage this feature via the multi-unit's main unit, and the settings will apply to all its sub-units. Alternatively, you can configure the settings for a specific sub-unit. Click the main unit or the specific sub-unit.
  5. In the left-side menu, click Settings.
  6. On the right side of "Tags", click Edit.
  7. In the free text field, either type in your listing tag or select from the dropdown list of existing tags.
  8. When adding a tag for the first time, the word (new) will appear after it.
  9. Click Save.

Note:

When adding a tag to a multi-unit listing via its main settings, you will be prompted to choose whether or not the tag should be added to all the listing's sub-units. Click Yes or No.

Removing a tag from a listing

Follow the instructions below to remove a tag from a listing.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Select the relevant listing. If the listing is a multi-unit, access the listing's main settings or click a sub-unit. Learn how to do this here.
  5. In the left-side menu, click Settings.
  6. On the right side of "Tags", click Edit.
  7. In the free text field, on the top right corner of the tag, click X  to remove it.
  8. Click Save.

Tip:

If you want to completely delete the tag, repeat the above steps to remove it from all your listings.
