Navigating the Guesty dashboard

The Guesty dashboard is designed to enhance your user experience and streamline your navigation process. In this article, we walk you through the new navigation structure, highlighting the locations of key items and providing you with a comprehensive guide to confidently navigate through the Guesty dashboard.

Top navigation bar

The top navigation bar gives you quick access to the following features:

• Menu icon: Click  to expand or collapse the side navigation menu. When expanded, the menu will remain open and push the page content to the right. When collapsed, it will remain closed. Your preference is saved, even if you refresh the page.
• Guesty logo: To the right of the menu icon, you'll find the Guesty logo, which redirects you to the home screen at any time. 
• Search bar: The search bar is located in the center of the top navigation bar. Use it to search for a specific reservation, property, guest, and more.
• Guesty Copilot: On the right side of the top navigation bar, access the Guesty Copilot to analyze the performance of your business. 
• Bookmarks: Use bookmarks to save a page you frequently use. Drag your bookmarks to view them in order of preference. 
• Quick add: Quickly create a new property, reservation, owner, task, expense or user.
• Notifications: View notifications on account updates and alerts to quickly take action when necessary.
• Help with Guesty: Access instant assistance in the answers widget, where you can enter Guesty Academy, submit a support ticket, or receive 24/7 chat support.
• Account settings: In the top right corner of the top navigation bar, access your profile settings or log out of your account.

Side navigation menu

The side navigation menu is organized into clear, functional categories. You can keep the menu permanently expanded or collapsed by clicking    in the top navigation bar.

When the menu is collapsed, you can hover your mouse over the left icons to temporarily view the full menu in a fly-out overlay. This allows you to quickly access items without changing your collapsed view. The overlay appears on top of your page content without shifting it. Move your mouse away to dismiss the overlay.

All menu items are in a single, scrollable list. Depending on your roles and permissions, you will see the following sections in your sidebar:

Inbox

Access the Inbox to view conversations with your guests and use the Inbox widget.

Multi-Calendar

Track reservations, manage availability blocks, and monitor property changes with the Multi-Calendar.

Reservations

Access your reservations reports. Click a reservation to view and edit its details.

Properties

Access your properties reports. Click a property to view and manage its details.

Operations

This section handles the day-to-day management of your business.

• Front desk: Includes message automations, the Guest App, recommendations, status reports, and upsells.
• Field ops: Access your tasks, Guesty Locks Manager, Guesty Shield, and phone book.
• Portfolio: Manage owners and custom fields.
• Quality and insights: Access your review analysis and Airbnb reports dashboards.

Marketing and sales

Focus on growth and visibility.

• Channel management: Access the distribution integrations page for all channels, and the distribution failures troubleshooting dashboard.
• Revenue management: Includes PriceOptimizer, rate strategy, rate plans, markups, promotions, and coupons.
• CRM: Manage leads and contacts.

Financials

Centralize your revenue and costs. Here you will find additional fees, tax configurations, channel commissions, recognized revenue settings for Analytics, expenses, Guesty Card, Guesty Capital, and Guesty Analytics.

Guest payments

Everything related to guest transactions, including guest invoicing, payment processing, payment automation, recorded payments, and receipts. You can also access GuestyPay Protect: 3D secure and fraud reports.

Accounting

A comprehensive suite for financial health.

• Accounting setup: Manage locking periods, accounting methods, business models, accounting dimensions, transaction categories, and vendors.
• General ledger: View posting journals, trial balances, disbursements, and preconfigured reports.
• Owner accounting: View and create owner statements, and access 1099 forms.
• Cash management: Manage your check register, cash accounts and bank reconciliations.

Integrations

Connect your ecosystem. Access Guesty add-ons, the Marketplace, OAuth applications and analytics, and webhooks.

Account

Manage your core settings, including account settings, company info, user management, and brands.

Access Guesty billing to view information related to payments, invoices, and credit history.
