Analytics Overview

Guesty Analytics provides an overview of your company's performance over time, allowing you to set several parameters to gain insights about your business. 

This article relates to Guesty's standard Analytics feature, which does not offer the option to download a report. It is intended for viewing details only or for copying the details and pasting them into other files, such as spreadsheets. For downloading reports and additional features, see Guesty's premium Advanced Analytics.

Important:

Analytics revenue calculation includes canceled reservations. To view revenue for confirmed reservations only, create a reservations report using the filter "Reservation is confirmed" and other relevant parameters such as date range and listing.

Pro users Lite users

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Financials mode.
  3. Click Analytics.

Note:

The currency in your Analytics dashboard is the same as your Guesty account.

You will see and be able to do the following:

  • Date range: Choose from preset dates or set a custom date range.
  • Analytics views: Choose Revenue by period for an overview of revenue for all properties in one sum during the selected date range, or Revenue by property to take a closer look at each listing.
  • Revenue calculation:The total payout of reservations.
  • Metrics: Measure performance by revenue, commission, occupancy, average nightly rate, or revenue per available listing (revenue PAL).
  • Trends: See a trend graph for the two main metrics you select.
  • Pie charts: See the breakdown of Revenue by channels or Revenue by invoice items in a pie chart.
