This article explains how to set up your account in Guesty to reflect your business accurately.

Changes are saved automatically when updating a field.

Navigate to your Guesty account settings

ֿStep by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Setup mode.
  3. Click Account settings

Change you Guesty account name and mailing address

Your Guesty account's name shows up as the sender in any message sent from the Guesty inbox to a guest’s private email for reservations created manually in Guesty and through the Guesty Booking Engine. You can update your Guesty account name at any time. Follow the instructions below.

ֿStep by step:

  1. In Account settings, select Account settings in the left-side menu.
  2. Under "Account settings":
    • Required: Enter your account name under "Account name".
    • Optional: Enter your mailing address under "Mailing address".

Note:

For messages sent via a channel platform, the sender name that guests see is controlled in the booking channel, not in Guesty. You can change the name in your account on the respective booking channel, or reach out to the channel’s support team for assistance.

Upload your company logo and description

Follow the instructions below to upload your logo to Guesty. The suggested image size is 300px by 300px. 

ֿStep by step:

  1. In Account settings, under "Company info", click Upload image under "Company logo".
  2. Select the image.

    To choose a different image, click Replace image.
    To remove an image, click Trash icon.
  3. Under "Company description" enter a description of your company.

Configure your account preferences

Time zone

Your accounts's time zone is based on its geo-location. If you would like to update your accounts's time zone, contact us

Default currency

Select the default currency for your account from the dropdown menu. Learn how to change a listing's currency.

System notifications

Calendar updates

You can toggle on or off the following Multi-calendar items to require mandatory notes when updated:

  • Availability
  • Pricing
  • Reason for manual block

Quote settings

You can toggle on or off the following required settings to include on quotes:

  • Payment method
  • House rules
  • Agreement to Terms & Conditions

    Include a link to your Terms & Conditions in the provided field.

Cleaning status

A listing's cleaning status helps you ensure guests always enter a clean apartment. You can toggle on or off the following options:

  • Mark property as dirty after check in
  • Display cleaning status in Multi-Calendar
  • Mark properties as dirty or unknown after selected period.

    Select your preferred settings from the relevant dropdown menu.
