Sending a Quote to a Guest via Multi-Calendar

After you set up your quotes and decide if guests should be required to provide a payment method and/or agree to your terms and conditions, you'll be able to send the quote from the multi-calendar. To allow guests to submit their payment information and book the reservation directly from the quote, connect your payment processing account to Guesty first. If you can't or choose not to connect to a payment processor, you will be able to send a quote without asking the guest to enter a payment method. A link will be sent to the guest in an email for them to review their options before submitting the quote and booking a reservation.

Please note that quotes sent as an "inquiry" will automatically expire after 24 hours if they are not confirmed. If a guest wants to accept your offer later than that, you will need to send them a new quote.
Follow the instructions below to send a quote.

Additional fees that are set up per listing or account are not presented in the breakdown of the quote but are calculated into it. As a result, the quote's total payout may be higher than the sum of the parts in its breakdown, i.e., accommodation fare, cleaning fee, and taxes.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, click Multi-calendar.
  3. In the top-right corner, click Availability & quote.
  4. To the left, under "Find availability", enter the relevant start and end dates and edit any filters relevant to your current needs:
    • Number of guests
    • City
    • Tags
  5. Click Apply filters.
  6. From the listings that appear to the left, check the checkbox to the left of each listing you want to include in the quote. These listings are either available on the relevant dates or have a flexible block on those dates, detailed below, which can be overridden:
  7. In the menu that opens on the right, customize the quote and remember:
    • Under "Guests", even if you enter that kids and/or infants are included in the reservation, the number of guests, as displayed on the reservation page, for example, will only be the number of adults entered.
    • Under "Contact details", select New guest to send a quote to a new guest.
    • Under "Channel" in "Channel & status", only channels from existing reservations are displayed. To add a new channel, a reservation must be created with that channel.
    • Under "Status" in "Channel & status", select Reserved to reserve the dates for a limited time or indefinitely. The dates will be blocked on all relevant calendars until the quote expires. Select Inquiry to keep the calendars unblocked.
  8. Choose how to proceed based on your needs:
    • If you want to send the link to the guest in a message from the Guesty inbox, click Save & send quote. If needed, you can edit the message before clicking Send quote, such as changing the subject line and adding variables or attachments.
    • If you want to send the link to the guest in a message from an external inbox, click Save & copy quote and paste the link in that message.
    • If you want to reserve the dates and price in the quote but do not need to send the actual quote to the guest, click Save.
