Guesty is required to obtain your business information in order to comply with global regulations. This information is fully compliant with privacy and GDPR regulations and will not be used for any other purpose.
Important:
Any request to change company name, zip code, and/or Tax ID requires a new contract to be signed with the updated information.
When updating your company address, all other required fields must also be completed to ensure that all information is up-to-date, including your VAT or Tax ID.
Company information fields explained
Business type
Individual or business entity. A business entity is formed and administered as per corporate law, which engages in business activities, charitable work, or other permitted activities, and includes corporations, partnerships, trusts, and NGOs. An individual is one who has their own legal personality, an individual human being and is not formed or administered as per corporate law.
VAT or company Tax ID
The number used as an identifier for tax purposes. This may be referred to as a business number or fiscal registration number in your country.
If you are an individual and do not have company information, provide your personal identification number or tax identification number.

The contact information of the individual Guesty should contact in case more information is required.
Update company information
Update company information
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select the Setup mode.
- Click Account settings.
- In the left menu, click Company info.
- Update the relevant fields.
- Scroll to the bottom, click the checkbox then click Submit.
Update company information (except country)
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top-right corner of your screen, click the profile icon and select Account settings.
- In the left menu, click Company info.
- Update the relevant fields.
- Scroll to the bottom, click the checkbox then click Submit.
Update company country
When you first sign up for Guesty Lite, your company information is based on the country location you selected. In order to change your account country, you must first subscribe to Guesty Lite. You will still be able to use any time left in your free trial after choosing a subscription.
After subscribing, contact us with the name of the country you would like to change to.
Company name
Contact us with your updated company information (including current address), and your request will be escalated to the relevant team to prepare a new contact for you.
Business address
If you need to update your country or zip code, contact us.
VAT or Tax ID
In some cases, the VAT / Tax ID will be greyed-out and you will be unable to update it. Contact us for assistance.
Time zone
Your account's time zone is based on its geo-location. To update your account's time zone, contact us.
Tip:
When contacting our CX team, make sure to provide the full address information, including the name of the street, number, country, city, and zip code.
