Onboarding to Guesty: Booking channels

Now that your Guesty account is up and running, connect booking channels to it to receive reservations and see how long the connection process takes per channel.

Airbnb

  1. If you have an Airbnb account, connect it to Guesty.
  2. If you do not have an Airbnb account, create one and connect it to Guesty.
  3. Once connected, you can import existing Airbnb listings into Guesty or create listings in Guesty and publish them to Airbnb:

Booking.com

  1. If you have a Booking.com account with existing listings, link them with Guesty:
    • Read our checklist before linking listings.
  2. If you have a Booking.com account with no existing listings, create listings in Guesty and publish them to Booking.com:
  3. If you do not have a Booking.com account, create one, and then create listings in Guesty and publish them to Booking.com:

Important:

Learn which data is synced between Guesty and Booking.com for linked and published listings.

Vrbo

  1. If you have a Vrbo account, connect it to Guesty and publish listings to Vrbo:
    • Read our checklist before publishing listings.
  2. If you do not have a Vrbo account, create one, connect it to Guesty and publish listings to Vrbo:
    • Read our checklist before publishing listings.
  3. Decide how you want to collect payments for Vrbo reservations:
    • Read this if you are using Stripe to collect payments.

Agoda

  1. Connect your Agoda account to Guesty.
    1. If you have an Agoda account, connect it to Guesty.
    2. If you do not have an Agoda account and wish to create one, connect a new Agoda account to Guesty.
      1. Read our checklist before connecting Agoda to Guesty.
  2. Once your account is connected, import your existing Agoda listings and link them to your Guesty listings.
  3. Once your account is connected, you can choose to export your Guesty listings to Agoda. Contact us with a list of the listings that you wish to be exported to Agoda.

TripAdvisor

  1. If you have a TripAdvisor account, connect it to Guesty.
  2. If you do not have a TripAdvisor account, create one and connect it to Guesty.
  3. Once connected, you can link existing TripAdvisor listings with Guesty or create listings in Guesty and publish them to TripAdvisor.

Misterb&b

Existing Misterb&b accounts cannot be connected with Guesty. A new account will be created when you connect Misterb&b to Guesty.

Channel Managers

Note:

Connecting with a channel manager is optional. You can connect with one or both of them. Contact us to learn about Rentals United pricing and account creation and contact SiteMinder and BookingPal to learn about their pricing and account creation.

Contact us when you decide which channel manager you would like to connect to.

Guesty Website

  1. Create a Guesty Booking Website:
  2. If you have an existing website, embed the Guesty Booking Website's engine in it.

Connection time per channel

See below how long it could take to complete a connection process with a booking channel or to link/publish listings, depending on the channel. During this time, your Guesty calendar will not sync with the booking channel.
  • Airbnb: Up to 24 hours.
  • Booking.com:
    • Up to 24 hours to link listings.
    • Up to 3 days to publish listings.
  • Vrbo:
    • Up to two weeks for account connection.
    • Up to 3 days to publish listings.
  • Agoda: Up to 12 days.
  • TripAdvisor: Up to 4 days.
  • Misterb&b: Up to 24 hours.
