Publishing a Listing to Booking.com

Once your Booking.com account is connected to Guesty, you can publish listings from Guesty to your Booking.com account from the main Distribution Page or from a specific account's page. Please note that complexes cannot be published to Booking.com and instead must be linked. Follow the instructions below to publish a listing to Booking.com.

Note:

  • The Booking.com account to which you wish to publish the listing must have a Legal Entity Identifier (LEID). If it does not, contact Booking.com to assist you. if you have published listings through Guesty to Booking.com before having LEID, and you wish to connect them to the now LEID account, follow the procedure described here.
  • Publishing a listing may take up to 3 business days, during which time the connection status will display as "Pending". Contact us if the listing remains "Pending" for more than 3 days.
  • Taxes are synced to Booking.com only upon the initial publish. If any updates are made to one of the tax values in Guesty after the initial publish, they will not be synced to Booking.com unless the status of the listing on the Booking.com Extranet is "XML: Being Built".
  • To set up policy settings other than the cancellation policy and the payment method, contact Booking.com.
  • If updates are made to the values of the following items in Guesty after the listing has been published, you will need to update them on Booking.com as well:
    • Authorization hold
    • Address
    • Title
  • Make sure to define your CVC policy.

Publishing From the Distribution Page

Step by Step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, hover over Integrations.
  3. From the drop-down, select Distribution.
  4. Click the Booking.com thumbnail.
  5. To the right of the relevant account, click +Publish listing.
  6. From the drop-down under "Listing in Guesty", select the listing you want to publish.
    • For a multi-unit, select the main listing, not a sub-unit.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Fill in the information.
    • If you are using Payments by Booking.com, you must select Cash or other forms of payment under "Payment method".
    • The "Child Policy" field will be filled out with "No children" by default. If this field is not manually edited, the listing will display that children are not allowed. You can update the Child Policy at any time by following these instructions.
  9. Click Add to channel.

Publishing From a Specific Account's Page

Step by Step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, hover over Integrations.
  3. From the drop-down, select Distribution.
  4. Click the Booking.com thumbnail.
  5. Select the Booking.com account to which you want to publish the listing.
  6. In the top-right corner, click Publish to channel.
  7. Click Next.
  8. From the drop-down under "Listing in Guesty", select the listing you want to publish.
    • For a multi-unit, select the main listing, not a sub-unit.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Fill in the information.
  11. Click Add to channel.
