If you have a markup or markdown, it will be applied on top of the extra person fee.
Channel limitations
The extra guest fee cannot be configured per booking channel. It will be updated in all connected booking channels, with the exception of Agoda.
How the extra fee is applied for adults vs children or infants can vary and is dependent on each channel. For reservations made through the Guesty Booking Engine/Website, the extra person fee is applied for adults only.
- Airbnb
The charge for each additional guest can be set between USD 5 and USD 300.
- Expedia
If there is no extra person fee in Guesty (or if the person fee is set as 0), and there is one on Expedia defined, the value in Expedia will be overridden by the Guesty value.
Edit extra person fee
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Financials mode.
- Click Properties.
- Select the relevant listing. For a multi-unit, access the listing's main settings. The change will be applied to the sub-units.
- In the left-side menu, click Pricing & policies, and select Pricing.
- From the dropdown, click Pricing.
- In the "Basic fees" section, click Edit.
- Under "Extra person fee", enter how much you want to charge for each extra guest.
- Under "For each guest after", enter how many are included in the listing's price. The fee will be added for any guest beyond this number.
- Click Save.

- Sign in to your Guesty account.

- Click the relevant listing.
- In the left-side menu, click Pricing & policies and select Pricing.

To remove the extra person fee, simply click the "X" next to the added amount and Save.
