You can limit the number of guests that are included in the price of a reservation and then charge an extra person fee for reservations that exceed that number. Follow the instructions below to choose how many guests are included in the reservation's price
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top menu, click Listings.
- Click the relevant listing. For a multi-unit, edit the main settings and the number of guests included in the reservation will update in all sub-units automatically.
- In the left menu, click Pricing & policies.
- From the drop-down, click Pricing.
- Scroll down to "Basic fees" and click Edit to the right.
- In the "Extra person fee" section, enter the number of guests you want to be included in the price of the reservation under "For each guest after". The maximum number of guests is the listing's occupancy.
- Click Save.
Now that you decided how many guests are included in the price of the reservation, you can go ahead and add an extra person fee to determine how each extra guest should pay beyond that price.
