If you see an unidentified block in your calendar, it could be due to one of the following reasons.
1. Advance notice settings
“Advance notice" is scheduled to ensure that you have enough time to prepare for a guest’s arrival ahead of check-in—for example, to prevent same-day bookings.
If you have “Advance notice” set for a listing, it will automatically block time on your calendars.
Note: When it comes to “Advanced notice”, there are certain limitations that booking channels enforce.
Learn more with Setting Advance Notice for Reservations Ahead of Check-in.
2. Preparation time settings
Once a reservation is confirmed, the “preparation time block” is automatically added across all booking channels.
If you already have blocked nights set before or after a reservation date, it won’t provide you the option to prepare the listing for a guest’s arrival.

3. Unassigned sub-units

If you have an unassigned reservation, and there is only 1 sub-unit available during that time frame, the multi-calendar will block your calendar to ensure that the reservation will have a sub-unit for their stay.
Learn more about assigning sub-units.
4. Unassigned reservations (before check-in date)
Unassigned reservations automatically disappear from the side widget if left unassigned for more than x days, and will appear as a block in your calendar until x days before the check-in.
For example: Let's say "Highlight upcoming unassigned reservations" settings are set to 14 days before check-in (like in the image below). That means your calendar will automatically create a block for the unassigned reservations that have a check-in date within the upcoming 14 days. |

How to find unassigned reservations
If the reservation is not assigned, the unassigned sub-units will sit in the parent unit.
In this case, you can find the reservation in a few different ways listed below.
