You can duplicate an existing property instead of creating a new one, as described in this article. Alternatively, you can import the settings of one property to another.

Airbnb: You can also import your existing listing from Airbnb to Guesty.

The following data can be duplicated:

  • Tags
  • Title
  • Property address
  • Pictures
  • Property details
  • Amenities
  • Min/max nights
  • Check-in/check-out time
  • The property's default base price (but not the nightly rate).
  • Currency

Limitations

Note the following limitations:

  • You can only duplicate single units. Learn our alternative solutions for duplicating a multi-unit or a sub-unit in the section below.
  • If you duplicate a property after its listing was flagged or suspended by Airbnb, the duplicated property can't be published to Airbnb.
  • After you duplicate a property, you must activate it. Additionally, we strongly recommend configuring all the settings that were not duplicated. You can see the full settings in the Creating a property article.
  • A business model can't be duplicated. After you create a duplicate property, assign it to the Business model.
  • Nightly rates cannot be duplicated. A Nightly rate is a property price per night, adjusted by a pricing tool.
  • Reservations can't be duplicated. You can relocate them from one property to another instead.

Importing existing property settings to a multi-unit

When creating a new multi-unit, you can import the settings of an existing property to it. Alternatively, you can import the settings of an existing property to an existing multi-unit.

Duplicating a sub-unit as a single unit

To duplicate an existing sub-unit under a multi-unit, you can use the following methods:

  • Unassign the sub-unit from the existing Multi-Unit. This action will convert the sub-unit to a single unit. Then, duplicate the property according to the instructions above. Once done, assign the property to the multi-unit again. You can only re-assign the property if the multi-unit has no more than 100 sub-units.
  • Create a new sub-unit from an existing multi-unit. The sub-unit will "inherit" the settings of the parent unit. Then, unassign the sub-unit from the multi-unit. The sub-units will be set as separate single units once they are unassigned.
