Airbnb is the starting point for new entrepreneurs and property owners. Due to the strong relationship between Guesty and Airbnb, the process to connect these platforms is simple and supports a streamlined, integrated system to manage your listings and business operations.
Note:
You can add multiple Airbnb accounts, but each must be connected to only one Guesty account.
Before you begin
Connect your Airbnb account to Guesty
Follow the instructions below to connect your Airbnb account to Guesty.
Important:
- Ensure you keep both platforms open in your browser throughout the connection setup.
- If you experience issues performing an action during the setup, avoid repeating it multiple times, such as clicking many times on sending a confirmation email. Otherwise, an error may appear: "You have reached your Airbnb account quota", and you'll be temporarily blocked from continuing the setup for up to 24 hours.
Step by step
- Log in to the Airbnb account you want to connect. Do so directly via the Airbnb platform, not through a third-party platform (such as Facebook or Google).
- In another tab or browser window, sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
- Click Distribution.
- Click the Airbnb thumbnail.

In the top right corner, click Add account.
If an error message appears:
- Ensure your Airbnb account is not already connected to Guesty.
- Try logging in from an incognito tab. If that works, clear your browser's cache and cookies and try again.
- In the pop-up, click Get started. This will redirect you to Airbnb. Click Allow to enable Guesty to connect to your Airbnb account. You will then be redirected to Guesty.
- In the pop-up, fill in the following information:

Custom integration email address prefix
Guesty automatically generates an integration email for your account that ends in @user.guesty.com. You can use this email as your login credentials in Airbnb, and to communicate with Airbnb Support directly through the Guesty Inbox.
Type a name to customize the email prefix. A green checkmark indicates that the address is available.
Click
to copy the address and add it to your Airbnb account.
Important:
If you customize the prefix, you must set the new address as your primary email in Airbnb. An error occurs if the emails do not match.

A unique account nickname
A dedicated nickname will allow you to easily identify the account in Guesty.

Optional: Your company name
The company name will be visible to your guests.

Optional: Forwarding email address
This will allow you to forward email notifications about your Airbnb account to another email (such as your private email). To add more than one forwarding email address, click Add email.
- Click Next.
- Click Done. Let’s verify the connection.

Verify your email address in Airbnb if needed. The verification must be performed directly on the Airbnb platform.
Your account will be added to the Airbnb integration page in Guesty. Its status will change from "Pending" to "Connected" once it is approved by Airbnb. When your Airbnb account is connected, you can manage certain settings and account information in Guesty.
Next steps: Connect your listings
Once your account is connected, your existing Airbnb listings are automatically added to Guesty with a “Not connected” status. Import these listings to sync their data, reservations, and guest messages and manage them from Guesty.

The listing status will change to "Connected" in Guesty within 24 hours, and set to full sync by default. After the status change, It can take an additional 72 hours to import the listing’s data, reservations, and guest messages to Guesty. ![]()
