Connecting your Guesty and Airbnb listings

Connecting your listings between Guesty and Airbnb syncs availability, pricing, and reservations so you can manage everything in Guesty. The right process to connect your listings depends on where the listings currently exist.

This article explains how to create a new listing in Guesty and connect it to Airbnb using the correct connection method.

Connect a new Guesty listing

Follow the steps below to create a new listing in Guesty and connect it to Airbnb.

Step by step:

  1. Create the listing in Guesty:

    Create your single-unit, multi-unit, or complex listing with all the required information.

    Your listing must have the following basic configurations:

  2. List the listing:

    List a new listing to prepare the listing for connection.

    Important:

    This action is a prerequisite to connect the listing to Airbnb and doesn't automatically enable new reservations. If this toggle is off, you'll see an error on the Airbnb integration page in Guesty and you won't be able to connect the listing.

  3. Connect your listing to Airbnb:

    Since you've created your listing in Guesty, you can either publish it as a new listing to Airbnb, or link it to an existing Airbnb listing. Learn more about the connection methods below. 

Choose your connection method

  • Publish

    Use this method if you created a listing in Guesty and want to publish it to Airbnb for the first time. Guesty automatically creates a new listing in Airbnb using the information from your Guesty listing.

  • Link

    Use this method if you have existing listings in both Guesty and Airbnb and need to connect them. This method connects the two existing listings, allowing them to sync information.

  • Import

    Use this method after you connect your Airbnb account with existing listings to Guesty, and you want to automatically recreate them as new listings in Guesty and import their data.
