Mid-stay relocation allows you to move guests between units during an active direct reservation while maintaining the same reservation ID and confirmation code, without needing to cancel and rebook.

Important:

Mid-stay relocation is available for direct reservations only.

Requirements

Before relocating a guest, make sure the following requirements are met:

  • You can only relocate guests during an active reservation—after check-in and before check-out.
  • Both listings must share the same currency, time zone, and country.

Financial considerations

  • Non-accommodation fees stay linked to the original listing but can be manually adjusted.
  • Accounting users: Reservation expenses and owner charges remain associated with the original listing. If needed, you can add owner expenses or charges for the new listing as a manual transaction.
  • Payments continue to be processed based on the original listing settings. You can assign a new credit card if needed.

Limitations

  • You can't relocate a guest if a locking period prevents updates to historical data.
  • You can't modify or reverse a relocation once it's complete. If needed, you can relocate the guest again.
  • Guests can’t return to previously stayed units within the same reservation.
  • After a relocation, you can make reservation changes only on the final property.

Owners

  • You can't relocate owner reservations.
  • For non-accounting users, the "Estimated owner's revenue" data field is temporarily unavailable for accounts with mid-stay relocation enabled.
