Sending conditions are rules that apply to a specific automated message and define which reservation status triggers the sending of the message.
If the conditions are met at the scheduled sending time, the message will automatically be sent.
For example, you can set a sending condition for a message to be sent only if the reservation has been paid.

Follow the instructions below to add sending conditions to a message.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Automations.
  4. Click the three vertical dots to the right of the relevant Message automation, then select Edit.
  5. If the relevant Automated Message already exists on the reservation timeline, select it. Otherwise, click any + icon to begin creating a new message. 
  6. Under "Add conditions", click +Add condition.
  7. Click Search to begin typing the condition's name or select it from the drop-down.
  8. Fill in the relevant information.
  9. Click Done.

Tip:

You can add Custom fields with "Yes/No" field type as a sending condition, by selecting them from the same drop-down under Add condition.
