You can create a single manual reservation at any time, using the Multi-Calendar, or the + button in the main dashboard. Once confirmed, the booked dates will be blocked on all connected booking channels. Follow the instructions below.

Note:

The reservation block will only cover part of the check-in date, and only part of the check-out date, as the guest(s) will only be checking in on the start date / checking out on the end date.

Tip:

Before reserving dates, you can send a quote to a guest.

Creating a reservation via the main dashboard

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. Click the + icon in the top right of the navigation bar.
  3.  Select New reservation.
  4. In the pop-up menu, fill in the reservation dates and select the relevant property from the dropdown. Then, click Next.
    • If the selected dates and property are available for booking, or in case they fall under a flexible block, the selected dates will be marked to the right of the relevant property in the Multi-Calendar. Click New reservation or quote in the right sidebar. 
    • If the button doesn't appear, the dates are entirely blocked from booking. You can hover over the "Legend" button above the calendar to learn why. Click and drag the cursor across dates to the right of a property you'd like to check.
  5. If the guest had a previous reservation in Guesty, click Existing Guest and select the relevant guest from the drop-down. Otherwise, under "New guest", enter the guest's contact details. 
  6. Click Price to add a coupon, remove any promotions, or select a rate plan.
    • If you have more than one rate plan set up for the listing, the rate plan will apply automatically.
    • All active rate plans for the listing will be available to choose from, even if the availability settings don’t match.
    • You may override or cancel any basic or additional fees (such as cleaning fees, taxes, etc.) by clicking the down arrow next to "Fees" or "Taxes", and then clicking the pencil icon next to each fee.

    Note:

    • If you've edited the additional fees, they won't automatically be updated if an alteration is made to the reservation.
      For example, once you edit the cleaning fee for a night, adding an additional night to the reservation will set the extra night's cleaning fee to the price it was before the alteration.
    • When creating a reservation, the default check-in and check-out times will be set. If you wish to change these times, first create the reservation, then edit the reservation.

  7. Click Channel & Status to enter the source of the reservation and update its status.
  8. Once you've finished adding all the relevant details, click Book reservation.

Creating a reservation via the Multi-Calendar

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click .
  3. Locate the relevant property at the left bar. Then, click and drag the cursor across the dates you want to book in the respective row in the Calendar.
  4. Adjust the reservation's dates under "From" and "To" (if needed).
  5. If you'd like to override the nightly rate and/or minimum nights that were set for the listing, mark the checkboxes of override rate strategy under "Nightly rate" and/or "Minimum nights "
  6. At the bottom of the sidebar to the right, click .
    • The button will appear if the listing is available for the selected dates, or in case of flexible blocked dates.
    • If the button doesn't appear, the dates are entirely blocked from booking. You can hover over the "Legend" button above the calendar to learn why. Click and drag the cursor across dates to the right of a property you'd like to check.
  7. Follow steps 5-8 above in creating a reservation via the main dashboard.
