You can create a single manual reservation at any time, using the Multi-Calendar, or the + button in the main dashboard. Once confirmed, the booked dates will be blocked on all connected booking channels.

The reservation block will only cover part of the check-in date, and only part of the check-out date, as the guest(s) will only be checking in on the arrival date, and only be checking out on the departure date. Guesty includes both the check-in date and the check-out date as part of the reservation block. This means that if, for instance, April 16th is chosen as the "From" date and April 20th as the "To" date, the blocked dates will cover part of April 16th, and part of April 20th, with a total of four nights.

Follow the instructions below to create a manual reservation for a single listing.

Tip:

Before reserving dates, you can send a quote to a guest.

Note:

  • Pilot users: you can create reservations with past check-in/check-out dates as described in this article. All other users: Past reservations cannot be manually added. You can ask us to upload them for you.
  • When creating a reservation, the default check-in and check-out times will be set. If you wish to change these times, first create the reservation, then edit the reservation.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. Click the + icon in the top right of the navigation bar.
  3.  Select New reservation.
  4. In the pop-up menu, fill in the reservation dates and select the relevant property from the dropdown. Then, click Next.
    • If the selected dates and property are available for booking, or in case they fall under a flexible block, the selected dates will be marked to the right of the relevant property in the Multi-Calendar. Click New reservation or quote in the right sidebar.
    • If the button doesn't appear, the listing is blocked for booking for the selected dates. Check why the listing isn't available for booking, or click and drag the cursor across other dates you'd like to check. You can select a different listing, instead.
  5. If the guest had a previous reservation in Guesty, click Existing Guest and select the relevant guest from the drop-down. Otherwise, under "New guest", enter the guest's contact details.
  6. Click Price to adjust the reservation's price components, including changing the accommodation fare, additional fees or taxes, or applying coupons.
    • The accommodation fare takes into account any pricing tool adjustments to the listing's price (such as rate plans).
    • If you have more than one rate plan set up for the listing, the rate plan will apply automatically. All active rate plans for the listing will be available to select, even if the availability settings don’t match.
    • Beta users: You can add an additional fee to the reservation (the fee must be created first).
    • You can adjust the price of an existing fee - either a basic fee (such as an extra person fee), an additional fee (such as a wifi fee), or the taxes.
      • If you've edited the additional fees, they won't automatically be applied to any additional alterations you make to the reservation. For example, after adjusting the cleaning fee for a night, adding an extra night to the reservation will set the additional night's cleaning fee to the price it was before the adjustment.
  7. Click Channel & Status to enter the source of the reservation and update its status.
  8. Pilot users: Click Extra information to fill in the values of the reservation's Custom Fields. Mandatory Custom Fields must be filled in to create a reservation.
  9. Once you've finished adding all the relevant details, click Book reservation.
