You can add variables to Automated Messages, and personalize the message to match your guests needs and streamline their reservation experience. Read this article to learn about variables. 


  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2.  In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Automations.
  4. To the right of the relevant workflow, click the three vertical dots, and select Edit.
  5. Click the automated message you'd like to edit.
  6. Make sure that all the relevant information in the fields is correct ("Name", "When the email should be sent?", etc.).
  7.  In the top-right of the message content, click Add variable.
  8. Use the filter to narrow down the search:

      1. Choose the correct variable and it will be added to the message content.
      2. Review the message and make sure the content is correct.
      3. Click Save.
      4. In the Workflow setup page, click Save once again then click Apply Changes in the popup message.
