Change a listing's currency in Guesty by following the steps below. The names of available currencies display based on your display language.
Before you begin
Important:
When you update a listing's currency for a channel, make sure both the channel and Guesty support the selected currency. Unsupported currencies can affect commission calculations and cause payment failures. If the chosen currency is not supported by Airbnb, the listing currency automatically defaults to USD.
The listing currency in Guesty should match your channel’s currency. If the currencies do not match, conversion discrepancies may cause guest payment issues, such as "insufficient funds" on a guest's credit card or "overcharge attempts" from a VCC, which result in failed payments.
Airbnb
Airbnb only accepts the following currencies:
AED, ARS, AUD, AWG, BAM, BBD, BGN, BHD, BND, BRL, BTN, BZD, CAD, CHF, CLP, CNY, COP, CRC, CZK, DKK, EUR, FJD, GBP, GTQ, GYD, HKD, HNL, HRK, HUF, IDR, ILS, INR, JMD, JOD, JPY, KRW, LAK, LKR, MAD, MOP, MXN, MYR, NOK, NZD, OMR, PEN, PGK, PHP, PLN, RON, RUB, SAR, SEK, SGD, THB, TRY, TTD, TWD, UAH, USD, UYU, VND, ZAR
If you select any other currency, Airbnb changes your currency to USD without converting the price based on an exchange rate.
| For example: If you set a base price of 12,000 CFP Franc (XPF), Airbnb changes the currency type to USD because CFP Franc is not supported. The price then displays in Airbnb as 12,000 USD instead of being converted to 110 USD. |
Vrbo
When you set up your Vrbo account in Guesty, select the currency based on your Vrbo brand. This selected currency can be different from the currency set in Guesty. Guesty automatically converts rates from the Guesty currency to the Vrbo currency when sending data to Vrbo. When Guesty receives data from Vrbo, it converts the Vrbo currency to the Guesty currency. Charges in Stripe always use the currency set in Guesty.
Booking.com
Booking.com determines a listing’s currency based on the property's location. You cannot change the currency for Booking.com in Guesty. Learn more about where to manage your data.

Updating your listing's currency
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Properties. -
Select the relevant listing:
For a multi-unit, access the listing's main settings. The change will be applied to the sub-units.
- In the left-side menu, click Pricing & Policies.
- In the dropdown, click Pricing.
- Scroll down to the "Currency" section.
- Click Edit.
- Select the relevant currency from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
