You can change a listing's currency in Guesty following the steps below. The names of the available currencies will be shown according to your display language.
Before you begin
The listing currency in Guesty should match the channel’s currency. If not, small discrepancies that occur when the currency is converted can cause guest payment issues, including "insufficient funds" from a guest's credit card or "overcharge attempts" from a VCC that lead to failed payments.
Airbnb
Airbnb only accepts the following currencies:
AED, ARS, AUD, AWG, BAM, BBD, BGN, BHD, BND, BRL, BTN, BZD, CAD, CHF, CLP, CNY, COP, CRC, CZK, DKK, EUR, FJD, GBP, GTQ, GYD, HKD, HNL, HRK, HUF, IDR, ILS, INR, JMD, JOD, JPY, KRW, LAK, LKR, MAD, MOP, MXN, MYR, NOK, NZD, OMR, PEN, PGK, PHP, PLN, RON, RUB, SAR, SEK, SGD, THB, TRY, TTD, TWD, UAH, USD, UYU, VND, ZAR
If any other currency is selected, the currency type will be changed to USD, but the price won’t be converted based on an exchange rate.

Vrbo
When setting up the Vrbo account in Guesty, you will need to select the currency to be set based on the Vrbo brand. This currency can be different than the currency set in Guesty. When Guesty sends data to Vrbo, the system will automatically convert the rates from the Guesty currency to the Vrbo currency. When Guesty receives data from Vrbo, the system converts the Vrbo currency to the Guesty currency. Meaning, the charges in Stripe will be made according to the currency set in Guesty.
Booking.com
Booking.com defines the currency based on the location of the property. This cannot be changed in Guesty. Learn more about where to manage your data.

Updating your listing's currency
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Financials mode.
- Click Properties.
- Select the relevant listing:
- For a multi-unit, access the listing's main settings. The change will be applied to the sub-units.
- In the left-side menu, click Pricing & Policies.
- In the dropdown, click Pricing.
- Scroll down to the "Currency" section.
- Click Edit.
- Select the relevant currency from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
