Your guests can choose for to pay for their reservations in multiple ways. You can split payments into multiple payment methods, multiple guests, or divide them into multiple installments.
Read below to learn about the different methods of splitting your payment:
Multiple payment methods
Before you begin
- Make sure to cancel any pending auto payments you may have.
- Collect the payment methods from your guests either by sending them an invoice or manually adding the payment method to the reservation
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector, and select Financials mode.
- Click Reservations.
- Select the relevant reservation.
- Click Balance due / Payout in the gray banner at the top of the page.
- In the "Payments" section, to the right of "Payments", click New Payment.
- Enter the amount and the date information.
- Under "Payment method":
- If one credit card is attached to the reservation, click Save if you scheduled the payment for a future date, or Charge now if the payment is due for the current date.
- If more than one credit card is attached, click Present reservation payment methods and select the additional card from the dropdown menu.
Click Save if you scheduled the payment for a future date, or Charge now if the payment is due for the current date.
- If no credit card is attached, or to add a new card, click Present reservation payment methods and select New credit card from the dropdown menu.
- Fill in the credit card information.
- Click Save if you scheduled the payment for a future date, or Charge now if the payment is due for the current date.

- Select the relevant reservation.

Multiple guests
You can charge the payment for a group reservation from the booker for all listings in the reservation, or from multiple guests per specific listings in the reservation. Learn more.
Multiple installments
Use auto payments to split the payments according to specific statuses of reservation (for instance - "confirmed"), or create multiple manual payments for present and future dates.
