Create a check-in form template and send it to guests for them to fill out before they arrive, helping you gather more information about your guest and their stay.

View check-in form status

You'll be notified when a guest has completed the form by an automated line generated in the guest conversation thread in the Inbox. Check the status of a guest check-in form following the steps below. 

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click Operations to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Under Front desk, select Status report.

The status is displayed in a column to the right of the corresponding guest. Statuses are: Sent, Viewed, Completed, and Failed.

View guest details in a reservation

You can see the details the guest sent back on their form in a reservation under "Summary", "Guest" and "Travel information", depending on the fields included. Follow the steps below to see the details via the Inbox widget.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click Inbox.
  3. In the Inbox submenu, select the relevant inbox.
  4. Click the relevant message thread.
  5. In the inbox widget submenu, click the reservation widget to view reservation-specific information, or the the guests icon to view general guest information.

Remove attachments sent by a guest

Guests can add up to two attachments to their check-in form before sending it back to you.

While a completed check-in form can't be deleted, you can delete attachments if the guest asks you to. Follow the steps above to access the reservation widget, then:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click Reservations.
  3. Click the relevant reservation.
  4. Scroll down to the "Travel information" section.
  5. Click Trash iconto remove the attachment.

View check-in form as PDF

You can view completed check-in forms as PDFs, including an audit trail of when the form was sent, viewed, and completed.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click Operations to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Under Front desk, select Status report.
  4. Find the relevant reservation and click View in the column to the right of the "Modified" column. If you also sent a check-in form to the guest, the reservation will appear twice, once for the rental agreement and once for the check-in form.
