- Linked listings use a rates & availability sync type. This option is best to connect your Guesty listings to existing Booking.com listings.
- Published listings use a full sync type. This option is best when you want to add your Guesty listings to Booking.com without recreating them.

Check the connection type
Follow the instructions below to check the listing's connection type.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector, then select Growth mode.
- Click Distribution.
- Click the Booking.com thumbnail.
- In the Booking.com integration page, locate the relevant listing's row. Then, check the connection type that appears under the "Connection type" column.
Manage data according to the connection type
Refer to the list below to determine where to manage data based on the connection type. Whenever possible, we recommend managing your data in Guesty, unless stated otherwise.
Data syncing between platforms should occur instantly without delays. If data isn't synced, manually adjust the settings in the platform that was not synced to maintain consistency.
