As part of the Vrbo integration, you may occasionally receive audit report emails from Vrbo. These emails highlight whether any system components are out of sync and may include details on listing, reservation, or configuration errors.
Receive and view Vrbo audit reports
Audit emails are always sent from @expediagroup.com. Each audit report typically comes with a CSV file attachment that lists the identified issues.
If you don’t see audit emails in your inbox, check your spam, promotions, or junk folders.
If you want to change the email address where Vrbo sends audit reports contact Vrbo directly to request the update.
Understand Vrbo audit reports
-
Warnings
If an audit report displays a warning, it indicates certain details are no longer supported, such as unsupported fields or outdated settings. Warnings are for your information only rather than urgent fixes and don't affect updates.
-
Errors
If an audit report displays an error, it indicates a failure in syncing or updating information. Address errors immediately to avoid disruptions in syncing to ensure proper listing and reservation updates.
Note:
During the integration process, you may see multiple error notifications while Vrbo finalizes the connection. This is expected.
Use the table below to understand the information you may find in an audit report and how to handle it.
Manage and resolve audit reports
Follow these steps when you receive an audit email.
Step by step:
- Download and open the attached CSV file in Excel, Google Sheets, or another CSV reader.
- Identify whether each item is a warning or an error.
- For errors related to your listing setup, such as title, amenities, and payment methods, update the details directly in Guesty.
- If you see errors related to reservations or issues that can't be resolved in Guesty, contact Vrbo directly.
-
After making updates, wait for the next sync cycle.
-
Check for a follow-up audit email to confirm the issue is resolved.
