Replying to guest reviews

Our dashboard provides in-depth data of reviews that have been posted by guests. Analyze the data and reply to reviews for reservations received via Guesty's Airbnb, Booking.com, and Vrbo direct connections. Follow the instructions below to submit a reply.

Access reviews data

Advanced Analytics users

Advanced Analytics is a premium feature available to Pro users only. Contact us to discuss activating it.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Analytics.
  4. To the left, under "Dashboards", select Reviews.

Other users (Beta only)

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Ratings, then select Reviews analysis.

Reply to a review

  1. In the "Filters" sidebar to the right, add any relevant filters to narrow down your search. We recommend setting the "Review Overall Rating" filter for your chosen threshold, such as "> 7.5", and the "Replied Review" filter as No.
  2. In the center panel under "Reviews Data", find the relevant reservation and copy the review ID.

    Tip:

    To open the reservation details, click the Reservation ID .

  3. In the "Filters" sidebar on the right, click the Pencil icon. Uncheck the box to ensure all other review IDs are removed from the filter, then paste the review ID for the relevant reservation.
  4. Click OK
  5. Click to refresh the page.  The item selected will be reflected in the "Reviews data" section.
  6. Scroll down to "Reply to the review" and enter your reply in the text box.
  7. Click Submit.

Replies can be submitted for reviews that contain text. For Airbnb reservations, you can reply within 30 days of the guest posting the review.
