You can import the settings of one property to another using a backup file or a direct import. You can also duplicate an existing property or import your existing listing from Airbnb to Guesty.

Note:

If the property is a multi-unit, the following actions can be taken via the multi-unit's main settings, rather than via a sub-unit's settings. Learn more.

Importing settings from a backup file

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the relevant property.
  5. In the left-side menu, click Settings.
  6. At the top right-hand side, click Actions.
  7. From the dropdown, select Import details from JSON file.
  8. At the pop-up menu, click Upload a file. 
  9. Browse to locate your JSON file and select it (or drag it).
  10. Click Import details.

Importing settings from another property

You can import the settings of an existing property to another existing property, as described next. Watch the video to see what types of data you can import in this way.

In addition, you can import the settings from an existing property to a multi-unit when creating the multi-unit, although this type of import is limited and only fills in the fields of the creation setup.  

Important:

Any existing settings will be overwritten.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the relevant property.
  5. In the left-side menu, click Settings.
  6. At the top right, click Actions.
  7. From the dropdown, select Import details from another property.
  8. Search the relevant property and select it. Only 10 results will be presented for the same keyword. 
  9. Tick the checkboxes for the settings you wish to import.
  10. Click Import.
