Within every reservation, you can add three different kinds of internal notes to keep you keep your data organized in one single place:

  • General notes
  • Notes for cleaner
  • Notes for guest
  • Special requests
  • Keycode

Learn about all available reservation changes and updates you can make.

You and guest service experts can write these notes. Use "General notes" for general information about a reservation.

Use the "Notes for cleaner" field for special procedures or instructions specific to the reservation, such as a reminder to set up a sofa bed or refill coffee.

Use the "Notes for guest" field for guest information you want to save. For example, remind yourself of an anniversary, mark a returning guest, or note extra services like tickets or tours. To add notes specific to a guest rather than a reservation, add a guest note.

You can also add "Special requests" and the door "Keycode". When a guest adds a special request during booking through the Guesty Booking Engine, it automatically appears in the reservation's notes section.

This information will then be available by adding the relevant columns in the reservations report.
