You can assign a multi-unit listing's reservations to one of its sub-units either manually or automatically.
If a reservation is received but no sub-unit is available for the required number of consecutive nights, the reservation remains unassigned. When this happens, you can relocate other reservations between sub-units to free up space.
Note:
When an owner makes a reservation in a multi-unit listing, it appears as “Unassigned” on the Multi-Calendar. However, the reservation details are visible if you preview the Owners Portal.
To quickly identify which multi-unit reservations are still unassigned, you can create a customized reservations report using the filters and columns described below.
Locate unassigned reservations
Sign in to your Guesty account and click Reservations in the side navigation menu to open the reservations report.
In the top-right corner, click Filters or Columns. In the pop-up, you can scroll through the list or use the search bar to find a specific filter or column by name.
Apply filters
In the filters pop-up, apply the following:
- Unassigned reservations: Under the Listing category, select Listing, then check the Unassigned box.
- Reservations with check-out in the future: Under the Reservation category, select Check-out. At the top of the panel, click the downward arrow next to "Check-out" and select Is in the future from the dropdown.
- Confirmed reservations: Under the Reservation category, select Status, then check the Confirmed box.
Once all relevant filters are added, click Apply changes.
Add columns
To view reservations by listing, open the columns pop-up. Under the Listing category, check the Listing's nickname and Listing's title boxes.
Once all relevant columns are added, click Save.
Tip:
You can view saved custom reports at any time. In the top left, click the downward arrow next to the name of the current report.
