Creating a Report of Unassigned Multi-Unit Reservations

You can choose to assign a multi-unit listing's reservations to one of its sub-units either manually or automatically. When a reservation is received and there are no sub-units available for the relevant number of consecutive nights, it will remain unassigned and you can relocate other reservations from one sub-unit to another in order to make room for the reservation.

To help you understand which multi-unit reservations have not yet been assigned, we recommend creating the following custom report in Guesty. This report provides you with an overview of all upcoming, unassigned reservations. Follow the instructions below.

1. Add Filters

Start by adding filters to display only upcoming reservations that have not yet been assigned.

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, click Reservations.
  3. Next to Filters on the left side, click the  icon.
  4. Add the following filters. Click each item below for instructions.

Reservation is unassigned

  1. In the "Add filter" pop-up, type Listing in the search field.
  2. Click Listing in the search results.
  3. Open the drop-down under "Property".
  4. Select the Unassigned checkbox.
  5. Click outside the drop-down to close it.
  6. Click Add.

Check-out is in the future

If this filter has not already been added, follow the instructions below.
  1. In the "Add filter" pop-up, type Check Out in the search field.
  2. Click Check Out in the search results.
  3. Select Is in the future from the drop-down.
  4. Click Add.

Status is confirmed

If this filter has not already been added, follow the instructions below.
  1. In the "Add filter" pop-up, type Status in the search field.
  2. Click Status in the search results.
  3. Select Status is confirmed.
  4. Click Add.

Note:

The filters you add will appear before the  icon. Click any other existing filters and remove them by clicking Remove in the pop-up.

2. Add Columns

Add columns to show the nicknames and titles of the associated multi-unit properties.

  1. Click Columns on the right side.
  2. Select Listing from the list.
  3. Select the following checkboxes.
    • Listing's Nickname.
    • Listing's title.
  4. Above Columns, click Save as New Custom Report.
  5. In the Name field, type Unassigned Reservations.
  6. Click Save.

Tip:

You can view saved custom reports at any time. In the top left, click the downward arrow next to the name of the current report.
