Managing owners' access to the Owners Portal

You can invite an owner at the same time you enable their portal access as explained in Setting up and activating the Owners Portal. Follow the steps below to invite owners individually or in bulk, and to monitor their portal access status.

Note:

Owners receive invitation emails from noreply@owners-portal.com. Tell owners to check their inbox and spam folder for messages from this address.

Guesty sends invitation and password reset emails in the owner's selected display language.

Invite an individual owner

Follow the steps below to invite an owner who has portal access enabled.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click icon Operations to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Under Portfolio, select Owners.
  4. To the right of the relevant owner, click Send invite or Copy invitation link to share directly.


Invite owners in bulk

Follow the instructions below to invite multiple owners to the Owners Portal. Owners who aren't registered to the portal will receive an invitation email. Owners who have registered to the portal will receive a login reminder.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click icon Operations to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Under Portfolio, select Owners.
  4. Check the box to the left of the relevant owners.
  5. Click Send invite to portal.
  6. Confirm the action in the pop-up.

Monitor portal status

The "Portal status" remains "Not registered" until the owner accepts the invitation.

Keep track of whether an invitation is accepted in the owner's dashboard using the "Owner registered" filter.

When the owner registers, the "Portal status" changes to "Active", and Invite owner changes to Share login.
