For multi-unit properties, if a guest confirms a reservation on the parent multi-unit, Guesty triggers the message automation that includes the parent multi-unit in its reservation conditions.
Often, the reservation is assigned to a sub-unit shortly after confirmation, either automatically or manually. Because Guesty evaluates the automation conditions before this reassignment happens, your confirmation message won't trigger if the automation is only configured for the sub-units.

Review the following options to resolve this issue and send the correct confirmation messages.
Include the parent listing in your conditions
Update your reservation conditions to include both the parent and the sub-unit properties in the reservation conditions. This ensures the automation triggers immediately when the reservation is confirmed on the parent multi-unit, even if it moves to a sub-unit later.

Delay the confirmation message
If you automatically reassign reservations to sub-units, delay your confirmation message by a few minutes. This delay gives Guesty enough time to move the reservation to the sub-unit before checking the message conditions.
Define your automated message in the following manner:
Under "When should this message be sent?", select 3 to 5 minutes After booking confirmation.
