Pilot: Connecting your Luxico account and listings to Guesty

Luxico is an Australian luxury villa platform that utilizes a home-hotel model. Established in 2013, the service manages a curated portfolio of approximately 200 high-end properties. The platform distinguishes itself by pairing exclusive rentals with 5-star amenities, such as private chefs and concierge services. It is designed to provide managed experiences for travelers while facilitating secure, high-yield rental solutions for property owners.

Before you begin

Make sure your listings meet the following requirements before connecting Luxico to Guesty.

  • Accepted locations: Australia
  • Accepted currencies: AUD
  • Requirements: Minimum 3 bedrooms, detailed property description, accurate location/address

Connect your account and listings

Follow the steps below to connect your Luxico account and listings to Guesty.

  1. Register for a Luxico account.
  2. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  3. In the side navigation menu, click Marketing and sales icon Marketing and sales to open the dropdown menu.
  4. Under Channel management, select Distribution.
  5. Locate the Luxico thumbnail and click Connect.
  6. Click Start connecting to Luxico.
  7. Click Continue to connect listings.
  8. Select a cancellation policy, and a cancellation fee if relevant, from the dropdown menus, then click Next.

    You can change the cancellation policy at any time via the listing's settings.

  9. Choose the listings you'd like to connect by selecting All my current listings or Specific listings. If you choose the latter, click Select listings to connect. Then, check the boxes for the relevant listings, and click Done.

    Only listing that are activated and listed can be published

  10. Click Done. A pop-up will appear letting you know that your listings are pending connection with Luxico.
  11. Click Continue to dashboard.

Connect additional listings

To connect new listings after your Luxico account is connected to Guesty, click Connect listings at the top-right corner of your Luxico dashboard and follow steps 7 to 11 above.

Disconnect a listing

Follow the instructions to disconnect a listing in Guesty.

Sync listing changes

Changes to listings sync to Luxico only if the listing's status is Live on channel.

  • Live on channel: Changes sync automatically to the channel.
  • Failed: Reinitiate the connection process to sync the updates to the channel.
  • Pending: If the listing status is Pending, changes won't sync until the status changes to either Live on channel or Failed.
