Connecting your LekkeSlaap account and listings to Guesty

LekkeSlaap is South Africa’s largest local online travel agency, offering over 28,000 properties across the country. LekkeSlaap serves as a leading platform for booking hotels, B&Bs, guest houses, holiday homes, and more. Recognized as South Africa's Leading Online Travel Agency by the World Travel Awards in 2022 and 2023, LekkeSlaap is an industry leader.

LekkeSlaap supports properties located in South Africa or Namibia, with ZAR (South African Rand) as the required currency. Each listing must have at least 5 images.

Connect your account and properties

  1. Register for a LekkeSlaap account here.
  2. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  3. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  4. Click Distribution.
  5. Locate the LekkeSlaap thumbnail, and click Connect.
  6. Click Start connecting to LekkeSlaap.
  7. Click Continue to connect listings.
  8. Select a cancellation policy and a cancellation fee (if relevant) from the dropdown menus, then click Next. You can change the cancellation policy at any time.
  9. Choose the listings to connect by selecting either All my current listings or Specific listings. If selecting specific listings, click Select listings to connect, mark the checkboxes for the relevant listings, and click Done.

    Note:

    Only multi-units and single units can be linked to LekkeSlaap. Unlisted or inactive listings will not be published to LekkeSlaap. Learn how to activate and list your listings.

  10. Click Done. A pop-up will confirm that your listings are pending connection with LekkeSlaap.
  11. Click Continue to dashboard.

Once connected, learn where to manage your LekkeSlaap listings, reservations, and guest communication.

Connect additional properties

To connect new listings after your LekkeSlaap account is connected to Guesty, click Connect listings in the top-right corner of your LekkeSlaap integration page and follow the steps above.

Update a connected property

Updates made to properties after the connection process was initiated can only be synced to the channel if the listing’s status is “Live on channel”. Updates may take up to 24 hours to reflect on the channel.

Disconnect a property

Reconnect a disconnected listing

If you disconnected a listing from a booking channel, you can easily reconnect it. Learn more about the differences between unlisting, deactivating, deleting, removing, or disconnecting a listing

Reconnecting is only possible for listings in status "Live on channel" or "Failed". In the integration page, locate the listing you want to reconnect and click the horizontal ellipsis in the "Actions" column. Click Reconnect.
