Publish your Guesty listings to Google Vacation Rentals (Google VR) with no commission or referral costs. Reach more guests and drive direct bookings. After connecting, your content automatically syncs between Guesty and Google.
When you connect new listings to Google VR, expect a "Pending" status for up to 3 weeks as Google verifies each listing. After 3 weeks, search for your listing in Google. Contact us if your listings remain "Pending" longer than 3 weeks. Learn more about connection statuses and troubleshooting.

Connect your account and properties
Follow the instructions below to connect your Google VR account to Guesty and connect your listings.
Review these prerequisites and limitations before connecting to Google VR.
- The Google integration requires connection to either Guesty’s Booking Engine or Booking Engine API.
- Google Hotels is a different platform. Guesty partners only with Google Vacation Rentals.
- This is a premium distribution channel that may incur additional costs.
- Only entire homes or apartments are eligible. Shared and private rooms are not accepted.
- Each listing must include at least eight photos.
Ensure you correctly set up your booking system to avoid connection failures.
1. Confirm your booking engine type
Verify if you use Guesty Booking Engine Website (URL contains guestybookings.com) or Booking API (custom integration on your own domain).
2. Confirm connection
Follow the steps below to verify your connection status.
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Marketing and sales to open the dropdown menu. - Under Channel management, select Distribution.
- Verify the Guesty Booking Engine or Guesty Booking Engine API thumbnails display connected items.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click Marketing and sales to open the dropdown menu.
- Under Channel management, select Distribution.
- Click the Google thumbnail.
- Click Start connecting to Google to begin the integration.
- Check the boxes to select the Booking Engine(s) or Booking Engine API(s) you want to connect.
- Click Connect listings.
- Click Continue to Google integration dashboard.
Once setup is finished, you can see the status of the connection.
Publish listings to multiple Booking Engines
You can only publish listings to one Booking Engine or Booking Engine API. If published to multiple, precedence is given to the first one published or the Booking Engine Website over the API.
Add additional fees and taxes
Taxes set up in Guesty are reflected in Google as long as the source is set to "Booking engine" (case sensitive).
Add new listings
New listings added to a connected Booking Engine are automatically added to the Google integration. It can take up to 24 hours for them to appear.
Note:
When a new listing is added to the Booking Engine, it can take up to 24 hours for it to appear on the Google VR integration page in Guesty.
Disconnect or remove a listing
- Disconnect a listing.
- To completely remove it, remove the listing from the relevant Guesty Booking Engine or Booking Engine API instance.
