If Stripe applies a rolling reserve, learn how to manage rolling reserve transactions and their processing fees.

If you do not have a rolling reserve with Stripe, follow the steps below to monitor processing fees.

Step by step:

1. In your Stripe account, download transactions for a set period. Depending on the volume of credit card transactions, you may want to do this daily, weekly, or monthly.
2. In Guesty, create a single journal entry for the total of all credit card fees for the same date.
   1. Credit card fees are debited in cash and credited to the PMC Vendors account.
3. Create a group transaction that includes the journal entries you created, plus the related payment transactions from the check register, to match the bank statement.
