Use filters to view and manage specific listings in the Multi-Calendar. Apply the available filters individually or combine them.
Available filters
You can filter the listings by:
- City
- Tags
- Listing status (listed, unlisted, or all properties)
- Amenities
- Property custom fields (text type only)
- Number of guests
- Number of bedrooms
By default, the listing status filter is set to "only listed" listings.
Note:
When you apply the bedrooms filter, the calendar shows listings with at least the specified number of bedrooms. For example, if you set the filter to 2 bedrooms, it will show all listings with 2 or more bedrooms.
Multi-units
The Multi-Calendar displays only bookable sub-units. It does not display the main multi-unit, and it is not included in the results count.
When you filter by tags, the search results show only bookable units unless you specifically search for unlisted units. The sub-unit count displayed under each multi-unit automatically adjusts to show only the sub-units that match your current filter.
For example, your multi-unit property has a total of 3 sub-units: 2 are listed, and 1 is unlisted. When the following Listing status filters are applied:
- "Listed" - Shows "2 sub-units"
- "Unlisted" - Shows "1 sub-units"
- "All properties" - Shows "3 sub-units"

Filter listings in the Multi-Calendar
Follow the steps below to apply filters.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Multi-calendar. - At the top left, click Add filter and select the relevant filter from the dropdown menu.
- Click the added filter to select the value you want to filter by. Depending on the filter type, define your values as follows:
- Cities: Select the cities from the list or search by name.
- Tags: Check the box of the relevant tags or search by name.
- Custom fields: Select the value you want to filter by. For example, for the "Dogs allowed" field, type "Yes" to view only properties that allow dogs, then click Add filter.
- Number of guests and bedrooms: Use the arrows to set the number.
The applied filters persist in the page URL. They remain if you refresh the page. Share a specific custom view with your selected filters by sharing the link.
For example, the link might be: https://app.guesty.com/multi-calendar?tags=Beach&tags=no_pets&listed=true
Filter by multiple tags or custom fields
When filtering listings by multiple tags or custom fields in the Multi-Calendar, you might see fewer results than expected or no results at all.
These filters work according to the following logic:
- Selecting one tag or field shows all listings with that tag or field.
- Selecting multiple tags or fields shows only listings that have all the selected values. For example, applying the "Pool" and "Pet-friendly" filters shows only listings tagged with both.
Adding more parameters reduces the number of results because fewer listings meet the criteria.
Searching for properties that match just one of the selected criteria, rather than all of them, isn't supported. For a broader selection of listings, use the following approach:
- Start by using one filter.
- Gradually add more to refine your results.
- Add city filters to narrow down your view further.
