RueBaRue

RueBaRue is a digital guestbook that provides guests with relevant information such as directions, parking information, instructional videos for entering the house, tips on what to pack, and more. Easily create guestbooks for each listing including custom field variables from Guesty.

Follow the instructions below to create a custom field in Guesty and connect to RueBaRue.

Create Custom Field in Guesty

Step by step:

1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
2. Create a reservations custom field called ruebarue_link.

This allows you to create an automated message to ensure guests receive information specific to their reservation using the custom field variable {{ruebarue_link}}.

Copy the Guesty API key

Step by step:

1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
2. In the top navigation bar, click .
3. From the dropdown menu, select Guesty Marketplace.
4. Search for "RueBaRue", then click Connect in the thumbnail.
5. In the top-right corner, click Connect.
6. Click the API key to copy it.
7. Click Ok.

Connect RueBaRue With Guesty

Step by step:

1. Sign up for free here and/or schedule a demo through this link. Demo can be scheduled before or after signing up up.
2. Reach out to support@ruebarue.com to connect your Guesty account.
3. When requested, provide RueBaRue with the Guesty API key generated as per the steps above.

It may take up to 30 minutes for the RueBaRue link to appear in Guesty.
