You can use Guesty's commission calculations to divide and share incomings between property managers and owners. This can be set up on the account and listing level.
If you use our Accounting solution, the business models reflect the revenue share agreement with your owners, and all of your listings should assigned to a business model. Unassigned listings will follow your commission calculations for revenue share.
Change commission calculations
Follow the instructions below to change a revenue share formula for a specific reservation.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Financials mode.
- Click Reservations.
- Select the relevant reservation.
- In the gray banner at the top of the page, click Balance due/Payout.
- Below the gray banner, hover over "Owner's revenue", "Your commission", or "Net income" and click the pencil icon that appears.
Note: "Channel commission" cannot be adjusted.
- Under "Value", make the relevant change to the formula.
- Click Save.
Using additional fees in commission calculations
When you set up your commission calculation formulas, you use placeholders such as fare_accommodation and channel_commission, however additional fees are not placeholders and require a different approach.
To include an additional fee in your commission calculation for a specific reservation, follow the steps listed above to access the reservation's details. When you reach the Value field, add the additional fee as a value to adjust the calculation accordingly.
