Expedia: Wrong minimum nights is being displayed

In Guesty, you can set a default number of minimum nights for a listing, which dictates how many nights a guest must book in order to make a reservation on a specific date.

For example:
If a guest wants to book a reservation at "Listing A" starting December 7th, and the minimum nights set for that date is 3, then they will have to make a reservation at "Listing A" from December 7 until December 10 or later.

The number of minimum nights is visible on each listing's calendar, per date, next to the icon. It can stay as the default that was set for the listing, can be manipulated by pricing tools, or can be changed manually.

Additionally, if you use Guesty's rate plans you can set a new number of minimum nights for a listing.

For example:
If you create and apply a rate plan to "Listing A" and set the minimum nights to 6, the guest would now have to book a reservation from December 7 until December 13 or later.

Guesty sends both of these values — the calendar's minimum nights and the rate plan's minimum nights — to Expedia.

If Expedia receives more than one value of minimum nights for a specific date, they will only present the higher number to guests.
If the wrong minimum nights is being displayed for your Expedia listing(s), we recommend checking your setup for both the calendar's minimum nights and the rate plan's minimum nights and adjusting accordingly.
