Sending reminders to guests to sign their rental agreement

Ensure that rental agreements are signed in advance of check-in by automatically sending reminders to relevant guests. Follow the instructions below to create reminders via message automations.

Tip:

Create a setup similar to the automated message that is used to send the rental agreements. For example, if the agreement is only being sent for reservations from certain booking channels, ensure that this reminder message follows a similar setup.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the relevant listing.
    1. When creating an automated message template for a multi-unit listing via its main settings, you will be prompted to choose whether or not it should apply to all the listing's sub-units. Click Yes or No.
  5. In the left-side menu, click Automation.
  6. From the dropdown, select Auto Message.
  7. On the right side, click + New Automated Message.
  8. Under "When should this message be sent?", choose items from the dropdowns. It's best to schedule the message for a few days before check-in.
  9. Under "Send the message only if", click Add condition.
  10. Select Agreement completed from the dropdown.
  11. Turn the toggle off.
  12. Fill in all the remaining information.
  13. Scroll to the bottom and click Save.
